What Is The Responsibility Of
An ISSM / ISSO?

protection. As an ISSM / ISSO you will have an awesome
responsibility to protect the classified and sensitive information
entrusted to your agency or organization by the U.S. Government.

What Is A Typical
Job Description?
ISSM's and ISSO's with responsibility and accountability of day-day Security
Operations and/or other
functional areas to include but not limited to:
-
Develop, Implement and Manage
a formal Information Security / Information Systems Security Program.

Develop an Information
Systems Security, Education, Training, and Awareness Program (SETA).
-
Develop, Implement and Enforce Information Security Policies
and Procedures.
- Review and Oversee all Information Systems
Security Plans / SSPS (Certification/Accreditation).
- Ensure ISSO's follow established Information
Security Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure all ISSO's and Security Personnel receive the required
Technical and
Security Training.
- Manage and Coordinate Information Security Inspections and
Incident Response.
- Ensure proper Protection and / or Corrective Measures have
been taken when an Incident or Vulnerability has been discovered.
- Perform Risk Assessments.
Are There Demands For
Individuals Trained As An ISSM / ISSO?
Yes. The Department of Defense, CIA, DIA, NSA and many other
Intelligence Agencies and Federal Agencies are hiring individuals
with the proper security clearances for these positions. If you have
already possess a U.S. Government security clearance, you already
have foot in the door. We will provide you with the necessary
training to become a ISSM / ISSO.
